For Guns and Freedom!

In spite of the various bans, restrictions, and outright lies told by politicians and the media, the number of Americans who own firearms continues to grow. In fact, it's become one of the largest political blocs, with a membership that refuses to give up its rights and freedoms. This is all thanks to the Second Amendment - one of the most sacred and important rights bestowed upon us as a nation. No one is supposed to take away your right to bear arms - no matter how much they want to. The unfortunate truth is, they want to do just that. And what is the only thing keeping them from doing it? It's the fact that we have guns to begin with.

One only needs to look north, to our neighbors in Canada, to see what could easily happen to us. If you haven't seen much of what is happening there, I urge you to take a moment and look on social media or alternative news sources to see what people are saying. Their rights have been all but stripped from them. They have suspended voting INDEFINITELY, put into laws that anything deemed dangerous or offensive material on Social Media (IE, anything their government doesn't like) is illegal. Things have gotten out of control for them. But how did it get there?

A lot of Canadians point back to a Supreme Court decision from 1993 that removed their rights to bear arms. Specifically, this act disallowed most handguns. Later in 2012, most long barrel rifles became illegal. And since then, their religious are being arrested for speaking their beliefs, and now they can't even say anything on Social media without fear. They can't even vote this administration out! Worst of all, they have no way to change the tides, as they are completely disarmed by their own government. They are practically slaves at this point.

So the question now is, could we get there someday? Absolutely, but only if we let it get there. That is one of the main reasons why our 2nd amendment right is so important. And this is why, when President Biden states that guns are not enough to protect you from a government, it is a dangerous encroachment on our rights.

Our guns are not here for murder, they are here to protect us, from trespassers, and from something that could become worse. Are you looking for a great gun to help defend your home? Call us today!

As we remember those fallen in battle, those who have served in the armed forces, and those who are veterans, it is essential to remember one thing. That is the reason why we have the day of remembrance, "Memorial Day." It is a day to remember those who died in battle, those who have been lost, and those who have served. The day of remembrance has been celebrated since 1868. It is celebrated on the last Monday of May every year. The day of remembrance was created to honor the men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice so that we may be free to enjoy the things we do.

We offer a special remembrance of Combat Marine Martin "Marty" Joseph Gonzales. He died from injuries sustained in combat. Marty was known for his charitable works in the community and was loved and honored by many. Special thanks to Marty and family for the sacrifice made for this country.

We also offer this time to all those who have family members who fought and died for our freedom. And for those heroes who are still living. We honor you and thank you for your courage!

Home Defense

Home Defense 1
The most important thing about buying a gun for home defense is that it fits your needs. Before you buy a gun, it is essential to decide what purposes the firearm will serve. Different guns are used for various purposes. Therefore, every gun owner needs to know what each firearm is capable of and what every weapon is used for and then find the most suitable gun for their needs. In this blog, we will discuss what to look for in a firearm used for self-defense.

If you are how I used to be, you might use your compact Smith and Wesson pistol for home defense. Though this is better than nothing, I have come a long way since that time. Though this is not a complete list of what you should look for, as that could take an entire book, this article should help you make an informed decision.

Firearm Size

You will need to select the weapon you are going to use. If you are buying something new, you will be presented with a lot of choices. The first thing you want to consider is the size. If you are looking for a weapon designated for home

defense, bigger is usually better.

If you are looking for comfort, you may think a smaller weapon is better, but you may think twice after firing it once. The recoil on a lighter weapon can be surprising. Instead, consider a gun with some weight to keep that recoil

down. Additionally, a smaller handgun may be harder to hit on target as the sights are closer. Lastly, smaller weapons tend to hold less ammo and pack less of a punch.

Here is the scenario; multiple armed intruders invade your home, and you have a compact weapon with limited ammo. Perhaps you scare them off when you take that first shot. Or maybe you don't, and you run out of ammo quickly.

Instead of being caught in that situation, consider purchasing a weapon that can hold more ammunition. You also want to be sure to have good stopping power, at which larger weapons are better.

Other Purposes

If you only have enough to buy one firearm, then this changes our story a bit. As I stated before, it is better to have a compact gun than not to have one. There are countless cases where intruders were scared away by a single shot from an unseen weapon. That being said, if you intend to buy a gun for concealed carry and home defense, then you need something that is comfortable but will still get the job done. In this case, you may want something more compact but remember not too light.

If you are looking to buy a weapon for hunting and home defense, then you have the best of both worlds. Rifles are excellent weapons for home defense as they are hard to take from you. They are also the only thing reliable enough to stop a deer or other sport.

As I stated before, this is not a complete list of things you should look for. If you have questions, then feel free to come to our shop or give us a call. We would love to help you out in making the right decision for you and your family.
